Hi there, i’m so pleased to welcome you to my Art of Pricing for a profitable baking business course.
When I started my business pricing was something that I really struggled with, its seemed like this dark art that I’d never get my head around. I’m not great with numbers, I really don’t like spreadsheet and formulas I’m so much happier with my rolling pin in my hand or icing some biscuits.
But I realised early on that I needed to get to grips with the financials because I needed to make my business work financially, I needed to have the money to support my family and put food on the table. I needed to stop thinking like a hobby baker and step into the shoes of a business baker.
Some of the things we'll cover in this course:
-What sort of baking business do you want to have and how this will affect your pricing?
-Mindset behind pricing your products
-Understanding price versus value
-practical ways you can demonstrate the value of your products and services to your current and future customers
-how to calculate your prices including downloadable spreadsheet
-why you should look at what competitors & similar brands are charging and what to do with the information.
-BONUS MATERIAL: How to deal with cheap customers asking for discounts
-printable workbook for you to fill in with key information, so you can refer back to it later.
I wish there had been a course just like this when I started out on my baking journey, it would have saved me so much time, effort and stress....!

About the instructor
I work with Food & drink entrepreneurs and creative businesses who want to grow their brands, get listed with their dream stockists and make money from their bakes & makes.
You might be starting up or in the first few years of running a food or creative business. If you're ready to launch, grow or need some help to make real progress, whatever challenges you're facing, I'll have lots of courses, training and support that will help you face your early years of growing a food baking business.
Over the past 5 years, I have grown my own biscuit brand, which I started from home, from my kitchen table to being stocked in premium Food Halls such as Harrods, Fortnum & Mason & Selfridges, and also farm shops, deli's and gift stores up and down the country. I've been commissioned by Disney to make biscuits and cakes and I also regularly make biscuits for some of the UK's leading corporate brands such as Benefit Cosmetics, Virgin Atlantic, Thomson Tui.
Having built my business from the ground up, I have a mountain of experience to share with you, of not just how to do things, but crucially also the pitfalls to avoid.
So do take a look at my other courses here to see how together we can get you unstuck, moving quickly forward and making progress in your baking business.
